The Bible says, “God's law was given so that all people could see how sinful they were. But as people sinned more and more, God's wonderful grace became more abundant” (Romans 5:20 NLT).

What is grace, and why is it so amazing? A good place to start is with the Sunday school definition of grace, which turns the word into an acrostic: G-R-A-C-E means God’s riches at Christ’s expense.

The grace of God is His unmerited favor toward us, also His unexpected generosity. Tozer writes, “Grace is the good pleasure of God that inclines him to bestow benefits upon the undeserving.” He also says, “God can no more hide his grace than the sun can hide its brightness.”
