The Midnight Cry · Something Good Radio

More than once, the Bible describes the Second Coming of Jesus Christ as like “a thief in the night”. But that is not the only way the Bible or Jesus talks about His Second Coming. Jesus also said He will return like a groom coming for His bride. What does marriage have to do with this important prophetic event?

Perhaps the most powerful picture of the Second Coming and the most compelling case we can make for it is found in the marriage relationship. A story Jesus told about ten bridesmaids, five wise and five foolish, is the best illustration of this (Matthew 25:1-13).

Are you ready for the midnight cry when Jesus, our heavenly groom, returns for His bride, the church?
