If you listen carefully, you might hear the roar of lions quietly fading into silence. Under normal circumstances, Daniel would have been torn to pieces by the ferocious beasts. But these were not normal circumstances.

“O king, live forever! My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions,” Daniel said with glee after a full night in the lion’s den (Daniel 6:21-22). 

Have you ever been thrown into the lion’s den? It might be a den of mistreatment or false accusation or gossip? Fear not, the Lord will protect you. He will tame the king of beasts.
