Peacemakers · Something Good Radio

"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone" (Romans 12:18).

"Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace" (Ephesians 4:3).

"The fruit of the Spirit is . . . peace" (Galatians 5:22).

"Make every effort to live at peace with all men" (Hebrews 12:14).

Are you starting to get the idea? Here's another one: "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God."

Those are the words of Jesus from Matthew chapter 5 and verse 9. It's the peacemakernot the peacekeeper that is blessed, and certainly not the troublemaker. It's always better to resolve a conflict than dissolve a relationship.
