By nature, the good shepherd is generous and never scrimps with His sheep. He always provides more than enough and never leaves His sheep wanting. How can that be, you ask? There is plenty more that I want.

Do you remember how David began Psalm 23 by declaring, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want”? In response, one pastor remarked, “There are two ways to get enough. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.”

By the time he penned Psalm 23, David had given control of his wanter to his good shepherd. From that day forward his cup overflowed. Do you possess a “my cup overflows” outlook on life? Are you aware of just how much God has blessed you?
