James and Jesus
The post-resurrection appearances of Jesus are many, including a meeting with James. That's James the half-brother of Jesus and author of the New Testament book of James. (1 Corinthians 15:3-8).
It took a while for James to call his brother Lord and Christ, but eventually he did (James 1:1). I wonder what their conversation was like after the resurrection. Did they reminisce about Nazareth? Did they laugh about the time James and his brothers wanted Jesus to show off his ministry at the Feast of Tabernacles? Did they talk about their mother Mary, or about James leading the Jerusalem church? Did Jesus show James his scars?
I wonder. How long will it take for you to call Jesus Savior and Lord?
