Whoever said Christianity is for wimps never read the Acts of the Apostles. Dr. Luke tells page-turning stories of fearless people of faith that never allowed a single threat to eclipse their passion for the resurrected Christ. They possessed what I call holy chutzpah.

For example, in Acts chapter 4, the early apostles faced strong opposition from politically powerful religious insiders who tried to silence the apostle’s right to free speech and religious liberty. Sound familiar?

Do you need some holy chutzpah? Peter and John replied, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge, for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard” (v. 18-20).

What you are saying is very true. And as Christians we must resist fear. And know as is said in Rev 21:8 is a sin. Fear does not allow faith to operate, but we know that without faith no one can please God.
