God's Secret Agents

Years ago, when contemporary Christian music emerged as a pop genre, Amy Grant hit the charts with a song titled, “Angels Watching Over Me.” The GRAMMY-award winning performer tapped into the curiosity many of us possess about these magnificent celestial beings we read about in the Bible.

Evangelist Billy Graham called the angels of heaven “God’s secret agents.” Would it surprise you to know that angels are sent by God to serve us as we serve Him? The writer of Hebrews tells us that some have entertained angels without knowing it (13:2).

Do the angels of heaven really watch over us? Are they sent to protect us, even fight spiritual battles for us? The Bible says yes and amen.
