God's Playlist


So, what’s on your playlist? That’s a popular question we ask each other today. Because one’s taste in music is so personal, my playlist is probably different than yours. Mine includes music from the band Chicago, a parrot head named Jimmy Buffett, and most country music. 

Did you know that God has a playlist with 150 songs? The collection is not on his iPod but in the Old Testament book of Psalms. Each of the ancient songs is a greatest hit with lyrics that move our hearts closer to Him. 

If you read five psalms a day, you can read the entire songbook of the early church in 30 days. Doing so will put a new melody in your heart.
