The glorified Jesus in the book of Revelation is a jaw-dropping view of our Savior as He really is—a glorious Savior, king, royal priest, and ancient sage. In the last book of the Bible, Jesus burns with conviction, speaks with authority, and comforts fears.

The Apostle John writes from the Patmos prison, “His eyes were like a flame of fire, his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace … and his face was like the sun shining in full strength” (Revelation 1:14-16).

Gaze into the eyes of the glorified Jesus, and what do you see? They flame with passion and conviction. It’s one thing to have fire in your belly; it’s another thing to have fire in your eyes.
